When translating a standard document, such as a birth certificate, the cost of translation is equal to the cost of one translated page (for example, from Ukrainian to English, it is 230 hryvnias). However, if the document has an apostille, the cost of the translation increases to the equivalent of 1.5 translated pages due to the larger volume of the text. For example, the translation of a birth certificate from Ukrainian to English will cost 230 hryvnias, but if this certificate contains an apostille, its translation will cost you 345 hryvnias.

The vast majority of Kyiv translation bureaus calculate the cost of services based on the amount of text contained on the page. This ensures the accuracy and fairness of the calculation, because the font size or spacing can vary significantly, and thus one physical page can contain different amounts of text.

When calculating the cost of translation, we also use the number of characters, not physical pages.
