Notarized translation: what you need to know
A notarized translation of a document is a translation with a simultaneous certification of the authenticity of the certified translator’s signature by a notary. A translator must be present during the notarization of the translation. In the case of certification of a translation, the notary makes an executive inscription confirming the identity of the translator, his legal capacity and qualifications. The notarized translation of documents must be performed accurately – because any mistake will lead to the fact that the document will not be accepted at the instance for which it was intended.
When is a notarized translation of documents necessary? Banks, embassies, consulates, visa centers, various government structures and organizations require a translated document with a notarized translation certification. A notarized translation may be required to confirm the validity of foreign documents on the territory of Ukraine and in other cases. The most requested notarized translation for:
- submission of documents to state institutions (RACS, passport office, tax, migration service, military commissariat, police, etc.);
- use of documentation in foreign languages during the conclusion of various agreements, contracts, contracts, etc.;
- submission of documents to certain consulates of foreign countries for visa processing.
It is better to apply for a notarized translation of documents in one company than separately in a translation bureau, and then to a notary. In the first case, the notary already knows the translator, has documents confirming his qualifications, and will quickly certify the translation. Our office MovaPro has all the necessary conditions for high-quality and fast notarial translation of documents: our translators are certified and we have been cooperating with notaries for a long time.
