Consular legalization

For foreign documents in Ukraine this procedure works in mirror image: most steps happen in the document’s issuing country, while the final stage — translation and certification — happens in Ukraine. A step missed abroad usually cannot be “fixed” here.

So before travelling or mailing documents, check their readiness: is the apostille in place (where required), are all pages present, are the stamps legible. The guides below list the requirements for typical documents and countries.
