Power of attorney

Arranging and translating powers of attorney: from abroad for use in Ukraine and from Ukraine for use abroad.

A power of attorney differs from every other document in this section: you do not receive it, you create it — so the route can be planned in advance, before any notary visit. The scheme we use in practice: a Ukrainian notary drafts the text, you sign it before a notary in your country of residence, an apostille follows where required, and the return translation with notarization happens in Ukraine.

The alternative is a Ukrainian consulate, where drawing up a power of attorney costs roughly 50–90 euros but may involve long waits. From Poland the document travels without an apostille thanks to the legal-assistance treaty; in Germany, notarial documents are apostilled by the regional court. The typical matters these documents resolve: selling a car or real estate, inheritance, and other legal actions in Ukraine while the owner is abroad.

We accompany the whole chain: preparing the text with a Ukrainian notary, translating it into the language of your country of residence for the foreign notary, and — once the document returns — producing the Ukrainian translation and notarization. Describe your situation and we will map the shortest route for your country.
