Marriage certificate

Translation and apostille of marriage certificates for family reunification, visas, and registrations abroad.

A marriage concluded abroad sooner or later has to be shown to Ukrainian authorities: to enter the record into the registers, change a surname in your documents, or prove marital status before a notary or a bank. A German Heiratsurkunde from the Standesamt, a Polish akt małżeństwa, a divorce judgment — none of them work in Ukraine until legalized and translated.

German marriage documents require an apostille, issued in Germany — most often by the regional government of the federal state. Polish ones are accepted without an apostille under the 1993 legal-assistance treaty. The most sensitive spot is the surname after marriage: the moment it diverges from the Ukrainian passport spelling by even one letter, the registration stalls. That is why we check every name against the Ukrainian documents before notarization, not after a rejection.

A standard marriage certificate is translated and notarized within 1–2 business days of receiving the scans — fully remote, delivered by Nova Poshta or handed to your representative in Kyiv.
